What should I wear aboard the pirate ship?

Wear comfortable, casual clothing you don't mind getting a little salty. Swimwear is recommended for the morning snorkelling voyage — you can wear it under a cover-up. For the sunset dinner cruise, smart-casual resort wear is perfect. Pirate costumes and accessories are absolutely encouraged, but not required — we'll have a few extras on board for those who want to get into the spirit.

What are the departure times and where do we set sail from?

All voyages depart from Port Denarau Marina in Nadi, Fiji. Morning snorkelling adventures set sail at 10:30 am and return by 2:00 pm. Sunset dinner cruises depart at 4:00 pm and dock by 7:00 pm. We recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before departure to check in and get settled on deck.

Is food and drink included in the voyage?

Aye, every voyage includes a full spread of food and beverages. Morning cruises feature a freshly prepared lunch with local Fijian flavours, plus soft drinks, water, and juices. The sunset dinner cruise offers a premium chef-designed multi-course meal with cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options. There are no hidden charges — everything is included in your ticket.

Are the cruises safe for children and families?

Absolutely. Safety is our top priority. The ship has sheltered areas throughout, life jackets for all ages, and our crew is fully trained in maritime safety and first aid. Morning voyages are designed with families in mind — the snorkelling takes place in calm, shallow waters, and there's plenty of supervised pirate fun for the little buccaneers. Children under 3 sail free.

What happens if the weather turns foul on sailing day?

Fiji's weather is generally kind, but the sea has a mind of its own. If conditions are unsafe, we'll contact you in advance to reschedule your voyage at no extra cost, or offer a full refund. Light rain rarely stops a pirate — we sail in most conditions, and the ship has covered areas to keep you comfortable. Our crew monitors weather forecasts daily to ensure every voyage is safe and enjoyable.

Do I need to know how to swim to go snorkelling?

Not at all. We provide full snorkelling equipment including flotation vests, and our experienced guides are in the water with you the whole time. The snorkelling sites are chosen for calm, clear waters with easy access. If you'd rather stay aboard and enjoy the views from the deck, that's perfectly fine too — there's plenty to do on the ship.

Can I book a private charter for a special event?

Yes! The ship is available for private charter — perfect for corporate events, team-building days, wedding celebrations, birthdays, and special occasions. We'll work with you to design a custom experience including catering, entertainment, and itinerary. Private charters can accommodate up to 120 guests. Contact us directly to discuss your event and we'll craft something unforgettable.

What kind of pirate entertainment is on board?

Our crew of professional performers bring the pirate adventure to life with sword fights, cannon fire, treasure hunts, interactive storytelling, and plenty of swashbuckling humour. Expect walk-the-plank challenges, treasure map quests, live music, and theatrical pirate skirmishes. The entertainment is family-friendly on morning voyages and takes on a more lively, party atmosphere for the sunset cruise.

How far in advance should I book my voyage?

We recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially during peak season (June to October) and school holidays. Sunset dinner cruises and weekend voyages tend to fill up quickly. Private charters should be booked at least 2-4 weeks ahead. That said, last-minute spots do open up — check our availability online or give us a call.

What should I bring on board?

For morning voyages: sunscreen (reef-safe, please), a towel, sunglasses, and a sense of adventure. We provide all snorkelling gear. For sunset cruises: just bring yourself and a camera for those golden-hour photos. All voyages have secure storage for your belongings, and we supply drinking water throughout. Leave your worries on the dock — everything else is taken care of.
